We recommend: Visit to the city of Makarska, excursion to Biokovo Mountain and to the Botanical Garden on Biokovo, as well as to Modro and Crveno lakes by Imotski. General information Place and harbor on Makarska Riviera, 9 km southeast of Makarska. It has wonderful beaches, plenty of greenery, as well as an excellent offer of hotels and restaurants. The economy is based on agriculture, wine and olive growing, maritime trade, fishing and tourism.

The largest celebration in Podgora is sv. Vincenco celebration, patron saint of the town, also Podgora Day (in August, the first Sunday after August 15).
There are numerous springs with drinking water and a medicinal saltwater spring called Klokun.
