General information
Jesenice (Krilo Jesenice) is a small settlement consisting of private houses 15 km south of Split. It lies on a part of the coast lined with small, secluded bays with beaches. There are concrete swimming areas in front of houses and pensions. The place is suitable for a quiet family holiday. It lies in the immediate vicinity of the town of Omis that offers all the necessary tourist facilities including restaurants and cultural and entertainment events. The best known is the traditional men’s choir festival.

The massifs rising above the town are ideal for hiking in unspoiled nature and fresh mountain air. This combination of two opposite climates, along with the breathtaking views, adds something special to this unique and magnificent area. Only a few kilometers away is the canyon of the river Cetina, offering possibilities for rafting, rowing and sports fishing. If you are looking for spiritual renewal, visit the nearby pilgrimage site of Vepric (25 km).
