General information Tourist destination and harbor on the northern coast of the island of Hvar, 3 km from Jelsa. It was founded in the 15th century by the inhabitants of Vrbanj. It lies in a narrow, deep bay, which makes it even more picturesque. The area has vineyards, olive groves and pine forests.
