"The town of Jelsa was a 10 minute walk down the coast. We enjoyed lunches in town and walks to get our groceries. We had no car but rarely found this to be a problem. We rented a car for one day to go to Hvar Town and enjoyed the day out. We also took advantage of the car and brought groceries back to the apartment. "
