Conventions & incentives - ISTRA
Is the Adriatic below the Alps, central Europe closest to Mediterranean. This
miniature heart-shaped world and the largest peninsula of the Adriatic Sea lies
on the 45th parallel emphasizing its idyllic geographical position with
perfectly arranged seasons - lush greenery springs, colourful autumns, pleasant
summers and mild winters. Istra has a rich tourist tradition, tiny romantic
towns with medieval centres, historical monuments left from the turbulent past,
national parks, UNESCO protected sites, vineyards and famous cuisine. The
counterpoint to the dynamic life of coastal settings is the tranquil greenery
of the inland and various rural estates and agrotourist destination that offer
organic tradiotnal cuisine and healthy, stress free life style.
