This is the oldest and largest Croatian national park and one of the most famous parks in Europe, listed by UNESCO as one of the most valuable nature reserves in the world. The bio system of the Park is a unique example of an open-air physical-biochemical laboratory. The waters flowing over the limestone and chalk have, over thousands of years, deposited barriers, creating natural dams, which in turn have created a series of beautiful lakes, caves and waterfalls. These geological processes still continue to this day. The forests in the Park are home to bears, wolves and many rare bird species. Duration: 8 hours

One of the cities within the broader Zagreb region that should not be missed is Varadin. The whole city of Varadin is a typical example of Baroque architecture and is therefore called the Baroque city. Its old fortress is a cultural monument of the highest category. Close to Varadin is the most popular and most frequented castle - Trakoaan. Who built it and when is not known, but it is believed that Trakoaan castle is a fortress built in the 14th century. With its beautiful landscape, park-forest and a large artificial lake, the castle is an entity that will amaze every visitor. Duration: 8 hours

Round-shaped hills with vineyards and typical Zagorje - style cottages, small rivers and brooks, woods, picturesque villages, castles, churches and other monuments are evidence of the diligence and imperishableness of the Zagorje peasant. Each village and small town of Zagorje has its own specific charm, its tale to tell and will certainly surprise the visitor. A special part of this locality is Kumrovec with its exceptionally valuable and attractive ethno-village and the castle Veliki Tabor, a historic monument of the highest category, the finest example of the fortification architecture of the late Middle Ages. It is one of the best-preserved mediaeval fortresses in Croatia. Duration: 6 hours

Proceed to Opatija (Nice of Adriatic, city of magnolias, a luxury resort of empress and viceroys). Arrival to Opatija, check-in in a 4/5 star hotel. Sightseeing tour of Opatija. Diner in a famous restaurant with wine tasting in Opatija. Overnight at hotel in Opatija.

DAY 2: TOUR OF ISTRIA
Motovun - famous medieval example of Istrian settlements and famous truffle center
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion of Istria.
Visit Hum (smallest town in the world and end point of Glagolitic Monks Lane). Depart to Motovun (famous medieval example of Istrian settlements and famous truffle center). Sightseeing tour of the town. Lunch in a famous restaurant (truffle meals) Depart to Porec (UNESCOs world heritage site, famous Euphrasius Basilica, tourist center famous for its natural landscape and well-equipped tourist resorts). On the way from Porec wine tasting at wine celler. Return to Opatija. Dinner in a restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Opatija.

DAY 3: OPATIJA - ZAGREB

DAY 1: ZAGREB ZADAR
Zadar - coastal city of cultural and historical significance...
Depart Zagreb to Zadar. On the way visit town Nin (town with many historical and cultural monuments, smallest cathedral in world). Tour of Zadar (coastal city of cultural and historical significance with modern tourist offer and atmosphere, many churches and important port). Lunch on your own. Dinner and overnight in Zadar.

DAY 2: ZADAR IBENIK

Drive to Sibenik (coastal center rich in cultural and historical monuments, famous cathedral) and tour of city. Lunch on your own in Sibenik. Visit to National Park Krka (river Krka makes this area unchanged region of exceptional and multifaceted natural value and includes one or more preserved insignificantly altered eco-systems). Dinner and overnight in Sibenik.

DAY 3: IBENIK TROGIR - SPLIT
Trogir - town-museum of art, culture, history and architecture from Roman to modern times...
Drive to Split. Visit and tour of Trogir (town-museum of art, culture, history and architecture from Roman to modern times, famous marina) and lunch on your own in Trogir.
Dinner and overnight in Split.


DAY 4: SPLIT OMI
Omi - situated at the impressive confluence of the Cetina river...
Tour of Split (urban and cultural center of Dalmatia with many archeological monuments, famous Dioclecian Palace) and visit to Omi (situated at the impressive confluence of the Cetina river into the sea, known as a medieval pirate center). Lunch at local restaurant on your own. Return and free afternoon in Split. Dinner and overnight in Split.

DAY 5: SPLIT SALONA - ZAGREB
Split - urban and cultural center of Dalmatia with many archeological monuments...
On the return to Zagreb visit Salona (one of the most significant ancient and early Christian sites in the world, preserved in situ) and Klis (situated between 2 impressive mountains, fortress and historical collection makes Klis a great tourist site.). Lunch on your own.
Return to Zagreb in the evening.

POST TOUR: ZAGREB DUBROVNIK - ZG 003

DAY 1: ZAGREB PLITVICE LAKES - SPLIT
Plitvice lakes, UNESCOs world heritage site
Depart from Zagreb towards National park Plitvice lakes. Arrival and sight seeing tour of National Park Plitvice, the most famous national park in Croatia. The complex of Plitvice Lakes was in 1979 included in the UNESCOs World Heritage List. Wooded surrounding hides 16 crystal-blue lakes cascading into foamy waterfalls. Lunch at traditional restaurant, serving local specialties. Proceed to Split. Arrival to Split. Dinner in a restaurant in town and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2: SPLIT - DUBROVNIK

Split is the centre of Dalmatia and its most significant monument is Diocletians Palace, famous and best-preserved antic monument build in 3rd century in Croatia. Drive along the coastal road. Stop at Makarska, a famous seaside resort for a short break. Drive through Valley of Neretva river towards Ston. Late lunch in a famous shell restaurant. Continue to Dubrovnik. Arrival to Dubrovnik, pearl of Adriatic, listed on UNESCOs world heritage site. Accommodation in a 4/5 stars hotel. Walking tour of the Old town with a local guide.
