Hotel or private accommodation in CROATIA as most of the private accommodations – rooms and apartments are recommended for self-catering vacation in Croatia, although bed and breakfast and halfboard can also be arranged with some owners. Our aim is to offer good quality 3 and 4 star private accommodations in Croatia.

Quality has gone up significantly in the last decade and there are many newly built or renovated houses. Note that most of private apartments in Croatia are located in Dalmatia region (mainly north and central Dalmatia in areas close to regional centers Zadar, Sibenik and Split.

Croatian hotel prices are somewhat higher that those of private apartments and you can usually get the best price if you stay for a minimum of 5 or 7 days.

Most popular destinations with good quality hotels are: Porec, Opatija, Pula, Mali Losinj, Rab, Split, Dubrovnik, Bol on the island of Brac, Hvar on the island of Hvar. There are few resorts and properties where you can book an all inclusive holiday in Croatia, while most of the hotels still offer halfboard or fullboard services.

Rural vacation in Croatia

Most of the authentic properties are located in Istria, or as Croatians call it - ISTRA Interior of Istria is truly unique and one can enjoy authentic Istrian holiday only 20 km from the Istrian coast, so this is a great way of combining rural and beach vacations in Istria, Croatia
Many of the locations are close to Rovinj, Porec, Pula, Umag or Novigrad.

Traditional Istrian cuisine can best be experienced by staying in one of 200 rural apartments, rooms or houses where hosts will often invite you to go mushroom or truffle picking and cook the meals yourselves.

Prices range from as little as 25 EUR per person per night in a room, while better quality bed and breakfast costs from 35 EUR per person per night.
